There are a ton of RP2040 boards out there and I expect a new wave of the RP2350 boards any day now. My current favorite board is this https://ift.tt/qdWa1vs since it has JST/SH connectors to add things vs a protoboard. What are your development environments? I work with students ages 12 and under, so I try to keep things simple. I do Circuit Python since I bought into that ecosystem with Adafruit awhile ago. Micropython is also a good environment. I recently stumbled across the MaxiMite Basic. I had these boards a long time ago, and it was cool to see the port to the RP2040. https://ift.tt/RdDVTFz There is a neat editor that made MixMite basic easy to write that also works with the RP2040 port. I'm also a Lua fan, there is a nice port of Lua, https://ift.tt/jGZczpO Lastly, Forth was one of the early languages I learned for the 8008/8080 family. The Mecrisp-Stellaris Port is nice, it's got lots of great "words" to use with the RP2040. New ask Hacker News story: Is someone trying to steal credit for inventing the eTicket?

Is someone trying to steal credit for inventing the eTicket? 2 by rexarex | 0 comments on Hacker News. The eTicket is what we use for flights today instead of physical, paper tickets printed on special paper. My understanding of the lore is that it was invented by Southwest Airlines or a company they acquired. That's what I heard on a How I Built This podcast episode with the founder of JetBlue. It's also mentioned in this research paper here https://ift.tt/RB63DSb Strangely, when I was googling I found what I suspect to be planted misinformation in a Bangkok Post article where someone named Joel Goheen claims to have invented the eTicket on JRG Airlines (https://ift.tt/bTyawJM). JRG Airlines does not exist, and appear to be just the initials of Joel R Goheen. However, he appears on a U.S. Patent for eTicketing for 1994 the same time they started using eTickets.
