I saw a decent amount of excitement today regarding Gemini Ultra, but it appears to be a few months out still. Google says rumors for GPT-5 release date is Dec, but I'm not sure I buy that at all. It feels a ways away to me. I'm trying to decide if there will be a window of time in which OpenAI loses its lead to Gemini, or if they'll squeak out a new release, with better stats, prior to Gemini Ultra going live. What do you think will happen?
