Can AI Take over VC Associates' Jobs by Screening Companies?

With AI now capable of analyzing pitch decks, predicting outcomes, and comparing startups based on key metrics, it's fair to wonder if it could replace some of the early-stage work traditionally handled by VC associates. This technology could streamline the screening process, offering quicker, data-driven insights that potentially reduce human bias and speed up deal flow. But is this enough to replace the nuanced judgment and intuition that associates bring to the table? Or will AI simply assist by handling the repetitive tasks, freeing up associates to focus on more strategic, relationship-driven aspects of the job? Curious to hear where people think this trend is headed. I have been doing customer and market research for my startup, Evala.ai, and am very interested to hear others thoughts.
