Hi everyone. For the longest time I've been wanting to get a few ideas of my own that I've written down actually built up and deployed. I wanted something that I could maybe make some beer money off being useful for people, and something that could use an actual back-end to improve my back-end skills. I wanted to consolidate my Rust (or Golang) skills as well. But whenever I write something down, I get a bit carried away when implementing it and never really finish much. I also discard a lot of ideas because they end up being too simple (and too front-end-ish overall). I'm starting to think the root of the issue could be the ideas themselves that are too lackluster. So I know this has been asked before (I've combed over those old threads countless times and they've been helpful), but I'm curious to hear more thoughts on the subject.
