Just a cautionary tale: I filled out the Google form to disallow my data to be used for training models. Minutes later I was completely locked out of ChatGPT. I have a Plus subscription and I can't even cancel it because doing so requires using the chatGPT UI, which I'm locked out of. I'm also a paid user of the API, but I can't see any billing options relating to Plus in the API settings pages. I reached out to support, but it says they usually reply in a week. It's valuable enough to me that I'll probably open a second account and just pay twice so I don't get blocked entirely for initiating a dispute. Lesson learned, I guess! It may have just been a glitch, or I might have gotten some quick HN tech support. Either way I don't think I'll be opting out of sharing data with the AI any time soon.

The eTicket is what we use for flights today instead of physical, paper tickets printed on special paper. My understanding of the lore is that it was invented by Southwest Airlines or a company they acquired. That's what I heard on a How I Built This podcast episode with the founder of JetBlue.
