Ask HN: Founder, stressed and lacking enjoyment – advice?

Hi HN, I am the sole founder of an early stage AI/software company. I've been working on this company for 2 years and am finally starting to look for funding. For the past couple of months I have woken up dreading my workday. I try to get myself hyped, motivated and disciplined, but I don't enjoy the day-to-day tasks I need to complete. I'm passionate about the mission of the company, and want to see it succeed, but am unhappy about how the process "feels". I never expected it to be easy, but this degree of unhappiness is surprising to me, and I want to address it. I also find myself worrying a lot about whether or not we will "succeed" and the "success" of my career, which I believe also hurts my ability to enjoy the process itself. Have you ever faced a period of little to no enjoyment while starting a company? What helped you get past it? TIA, tasteful rogue
